1. Republic Of Singapore Yacht Club

Founded in 1826, it is the oldest yacht club in Asia and the only members-owned yacht club in Singapore. The history of the RSYC goes back more than 181 years to an era when the officers and men of Sir Stamford Raffles, best known as the founder of Singapore, were their earliest members.

2. SAF Yacht Club

As the name implies, this club is mainly to provide for SAF personnel, NSmen and their family although they are open to other members too. It was founded on 3 June 1967 by a group of school teachers and SAF personnel who have the common vision to gather sailing enthusiasts together in Singapore.

3. Marina At Keppel Bay

Marina at Keppel Bay has 168 berths which can accommodate megayachts of up to 280 feet. It features a world-class concrete pontoon system, designed and built by Bellingham Marine which is the leader in marina construction and dock system manufacturing.

Marina at Keppel Bay sets new standards in Singapore’s marina service. The south-end of the Marina is well-protected by winged attenuator pontoons which are 2 metres deep, weighing approximately 8300 kilograms per 4.0 x 3.0 unit; the north-end has a fixed breakwater. These features ensure boats berthed within the Marina remain sturdy and well-protected.

The Marina also features Singapore’s first modern reticulated vacuum sewer pump-out system whereby every berths for super yachts have a dedicated pump-out connection. A common pump-out point near to the fuel dock services other smaller yachts.

5. National Sailing Centre

National Sailing Centre was officially opened in 1999 and was built by Singapore government to reward local sailing enthusiasts for their success in the sports. It is starting out in 1966 with the founding of Singapore Yachting Association with Jack Snowden, a Melbourne Olympian, as its first president. Their sailors include Dr. Benedict who won Singapore’s first Asian Games gold medal in 1994, the pairings of Joan Huang and Naomi Tan, and Siew Shaw Her and Colin Ng, who won 2 gold medals in the 1998 Games. It was established as a base for Singaporeans to enjoy sailing and to produce international champions in mind. In 2000, Singapore Yachting Association was renamed as Singapore Sailing Federation, also known as SingaporeSailing. This marked the start of the sailing sports professionalism in Singapore.

6. ONE°15 Marina Club

ONE°15 Marina Club is situated in Singapore’s prime leisure district at Sentosa Cove on Sentosa Island; positioned to be one of the world’s most well-integrated waterfront lifestyle fraternities. 7. Changi Sailing Club

The history of Changi Sailing Club can be traced back to 1936 with its founder as Captain Sterling Wilkinson, a Royal Signals. It was first named as Changi Garrison Yacht Club, later to NSPB (stands for National Sports Promotion Board) Changi Sailing Club, then to SSC (stands for Singapore Sports Council) Changi Sailing Club in 1971 and finally to the current name in 1988. Various boat charters are available to members ranging from Optimist, Byte, Laser Pico, Laser, Pacer, Platus, Beach Catamaran to Keelboat.

8. Raffles Marina

Raffles Marina is Singapore’s premier megayacht marina, caters specifically to the needs of the megayacht community in Singapore. It is well-protected by a solid breakwater with the minimum depth alongside is 10 metres while the approach channel has depth of more than 5 metres at low tide. This allows yachts to berth at all times. The walk-on berths can cater to boats of up to 65 feet while the Boathouse has 208 dry-berths for boats’ length of up to 35 feets. Shore power supply, freshwater supply, TV antennae connectors and telecommunication access are also readily available.
